Hola! I’m Jacques - a lifelong explorer and adventurer at heart. Born in France, I’ve spent my life living and working across five countries, from Mexico and Costa Rica to the Netherlands and now Spain. I’m a product strategist, a team builder, and someone who’s built a career around pushing boundaries — whether it’s scaling global tech brands from Amsterdam, leading sustainability initiatives in Latin America, or launching products across Europe, the Americas, and Asia.
Now based in Barcelona, I’ve channelled everything I’ve learned into Scapade, to enable people like me to live, work, and explore from anywhere. I recently climbed Mount Kazbek in Georgia, and next up is Mount Ararat in Turkey, where, yes, I’ll also be working remotely!

Hi, I'm James. I've spent over 20 years diving headfirst into business and adventure around the world. From starting an adventure sports company in the French Alps to launching retail brands, I’ve always been drawn to where lifestyle and business collide. I love experimenting with local food, rolling out new brand ideas, and—when I’m not working—training for 100km ultra-marathons. I’m all about endurance, big ideas, and making them happen.
