Scope
This page explains Scapade LTD’s role in relation to Apple’s Find My functionality built into certain Scapade products. It is an informational supplement only and does not replace our site privacy policy.
Key statement — No data received from Apple Find My
Scapade LTD does not receive, access, collect or store any location data, Find My consent logs, or any other personal data from Apple as part of normal Apple Find My operations.
Apple manages the Find My network, the pairing/consent flows, and any location processing performed by the Find My service. Scapade receives no Find My data from Apple.
When Scapade might receive data (only at user direction)
Scapade will only process location or related personal data if you explicitly and voluntarily share such data with Scapade (for example, by sending logs, screenshots, or a location report to Scapade support). If you do not share data with Scapade, we have no Find My–related personal data about you or your device.
Who controls Find My data
Apple is the controller for the location data and consent related to the Find My service. Scapade LTD is controller only for data that you voluntarily provide directly to Scapade (support messages, uploaded logs, diagnostics).
How to manage or withdraw Find My permissions
To manage Find My permissions, use your Apple device settings (for example: Settings > Privacy > Location Services and the Find My settings in iOS). Because Apple controls these permissions, Scapade cannot change or revoke your Find My consent recorded by Apple.
Support and voluntary data sharing
If you choose to share data with Scapade for troubleshooting or recovery assistance (e.g., sending logs or screenshots), we will explain exactly what we receive, how we will use it, and how long we will retain it. Such sharing is voluntary and only processed at your instruction.
